Rangitaranga - Producer - HK Prakash, Direction - Anoop Bhandari, Cinematography - Lance Kaplan and William David, Music - Anoop Bhandari, Cast - Nirup Bhandari, Saikumar, Avanthika Shetty, Radhika Chetan, Shilpa Singh, Ananthavelu, Aravind Rao, Siddu Moolimani, Roshini Kore, Renika, Prasidda, Chetan Raj, Shanker Ashwath, Srinath Vasishta, Swapna Raj, Ramswamy, Karthik Rao, Shivamanju, Vardhan, Kalari Sithara, Pramod Shetty, Praan Ramayya, Anoop Bhandari, Sarish and others.

In his debut director and music director Anoop Bhandari has abundant stuff but not aware of the convincing style of narration in this lengthy cinema `Rangitaranga'. The music, cinematography and actors are good pick but not the screenplay. Just for the sake of creating fear situations are given built up. There are many such fear factor films in the past.

In the second half there are a few absorbing moments when the Post Master past is revealed. The needle of suspicion shift to a few prior to that disclosure.

With Pregnant wife Indu (Radhika Chetan) Gautham (Nirup Bhandari) comes to Karmattu to fulfill the long pending ritual at `Guddada Bootha'. When Indu goes missing the cop investigating on the issue at the interval point gives an opinion that it is the `hallucination' of Gautham.

A journalist Sindhu (Avanthika Shetty) comes in search of an unidentified author Anushk to this Kumarattu village she finds strange things with Gautham. Gautham is the author of the book Sindhu is looking for. They go in search of missing pregnant Indu. Traces a crucial diary and get supportive information to the investigation. They get in to the police station on the missing cases especially on July 7. In a series 12 pregnant woman are missing on July 7 says the police records. How successfully Gautham encounter the poster master responsible for kidnap of Indu is interesting part of the climax. Nirup Bhandari in his first film is partially convincing. Radhika Chetan and Avanthika Shetty are convincing. Saikumar as post master has a different role. Aravind as cop is quite OK.

Music and Cinematography of `Rangi Taranga' are in top order. This film needs scissors again. Half an hour chopping would make it tidy and tolerable film.

Score - 5/10
