Rangasthalam to be withdrawn in TN

Even as 'Rangasthalam' released in the highest number of theatres in Tamil Nadu in Ram Charan's career, the movie will be withdrawn from theatres very soon.

It's because the Telugu Film Producers' Council has decided that Telugu movies in the neighbouring state should not be screened from April 8 in solidarity with the ongoing strike in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, there is still no clarity about a number of Kollywood releases.  If the no-language (that is, silent) film 'Mercury' (starring Prabhu Deva and directed by Karthick Subbaraj) is slated to be released on April 13, there is total uncertainty around 'Kaala' (scheduled to be out on the 27th) at the time of writing this article.
