Working on 'Rangasthalam' has meant that Ram Charan has had some interesting sights into folk culture of either a bygone era or the ones which still continue to be there. Since it's a period drama and a village-based one at that, Sukumar must have made enough research into the local cultures of the place in which the film is set.

Thappeta Gullu, the traditional folk dance and music form from the Andhra region, is what the Mega Power Star mentions in his latest Facebook post. "Another day on 'Rangasthalam' sets. Have had the pleasure of knowing another art form. Met these Thappeta Gullu dancers," he writes.

The film's talkie portions have been done with. Two songs which are pending will be shot in January. "Ram Charan has delivered a captivating performance in the never-seen-before role of Chitti Babu. Samantha as her pair will surely cackle up the screen. We promise that Sukumar's Midas Touch is going to leave the audience spell-bound," producers Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravishankar and CV Mohan say.

Also starring Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya Bharadwaj, it has a special song featuring Pooja Hegde. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. The film releases on March 30.
