'Rangasthalam': Teaser date made official

The Teaser of 'Rangasthalam' will be out on January 24 at 4:15 PM. As is known, the film releases on March 30, a day after 'Mahanati'.

The teaser comes weeks after Ram Charan was introduced as Chitti Babu in the First Look.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the drama features Ram Charan as a deaf villager. The film is expected to have a political backdrop. Samantha Akkineni has said that 'Rangasthalam' is an absolutely honest film. Referring to the film's ambience, she recently said, "There is such beauty in simplicity! Very little is needed to make a happy life. I so enjoy being a part of this absolutely honest film."

Director Sukumar is ensuring that the film is an authentic period drama set in the 1980s. It has Aadhi Pinishetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Anasuya is a part of the cast. Pooja Hegde is doing a special song. Music-directed by Devi Sri Prasad, it has cinematography by Rathnavelu.
