'Rangasthalam' is on a roll in the US. No, it's actually a rampage. The film crossed the coveted one million mark earlier on Friday, riding on the Premieres' figure of USD 0.70 million. "The US's hourly gross at 12:30 PM (PST) on Friday was almost USD 302,000 with a highly impressive average per location," says a source.
The Sukumar-directed period drama, featuring Ram Charan in the role of a sentimental and pure-hearted man, is expected to clock 3 million dollars (lifetime business) in that crucial market.
The film has reportedly collected a share of more than Rs. 2.40 crore on its first day in Uttarandhra. As per a Twitter handle maintained by Ram Charan's fans, this is the 5th best opening in Uttarandhara in terms of share.
