The Day 2 gross figure netted by 'Rangasthalam' in this market is the second highest in the history of Tollywood.  If 'Baahubali-2' is at No. 1 (Rs. 3.30 Cr), the Sukumar-directed movie is at No. 2, with a gross of Rs. 2.50 Cr.  'Baahubali-The Beginning' had made Rs. 2.15 Cr.  'Duvvada Jagannadham' did Rs. 1.62 Cr, while 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' had done Rs. 1.42 Cr.

What makes it all the more special is that, unlike Rajamouli, Sukumar does not enjoy unprecedented following in 'B' and 'C' centers.  

In Australia, the entertainer has grossed Rs. 1.19 Cr.  It was sold for Rs. 65 lakhs.
