'Rangamarthanda', starring the versatile Prakash Raj, Brahmanamdam and Ramya Krishna, is directed by Krishna Vamsi. The drama will see Megastar Chiranjeevi's voice-over as a narrator.

The news is that the film, which has been in the post-production phase, is in much demand on the OTT front. It is learned that Netflix has offered the producer of the movie Rs 20 Cr in return for the direct-to-service release rights. So far, there is no information as to whether the makers have gone for the coveted offer.

The drama depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor who has retired from acting but is unable to forget his fond memories of theatre and the stage. Produced by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu, its music is by Maestro Ilayaraja.

Krishna Vamsi, the 'Khadgam' and 'Nakshatram' maker, is working with Shivatmika Rajasekhar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, playback singer and actor Rahul Sipligunj, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Brahmanandam, and Tanikella Bharani, for the remake.
