'Rangam-2', directed by Ravi K Chandran, stars Jiiva in the lead role. A dubbed version of the 2014 Tamil action film 'Yaan', the film is currently in post-production stage. Thulasi Nair, younger daughter of yesteryear actress Radha and sister of Karthika, is the female lead.

Producer AS Balaji is happy that the first look has clocked 3.50 lakh views in three days. "This film will increase the following that Jiiva has in Telugu. If KV Anand, a cinematographer turned into a director with 'Rangam', another cinematographer turned into a director with this movie. The audio will be released soon and the film, in the second half of November," he says.

Director Kalyan Krishna of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' fame has said that the film has the range of 'Rangam'.

Nasser, Jayaprakash and Urmila are playing key roles. Music-directed by Harris Jayaraj, the film has editing by A Sreekar Prasad and cinematography by Manush Nandan.
