'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga' has been translated into English as 'pompous grandeur'. And the film's trailer, in contrast, is about the simple quarrels and tiffs between its lead pair, who are childhood friends. The sworn frenemies enjoy the 'gilli kajjalu' until they probably discover that they have been into trivial fights for the precise reason that they love each other.

If Vaisshnav Tej and Ketika Sharma share a love-hate-love equation, the film has more to do than just them. VK Naresh plays the male lead's father, while Prabhu plays the female lead's. Tulasi and a host of others are also seen as elders.

Gireeshaaya has wielded the megaphone and it's his sophomore film. Shamdat Sainudeen of 'Sahasam' and 'Sridevi Soda Center' fame is its director of photography.
