Brilliant actor Randeep Hooda has played a wide range of characters over years. Classy to rustic, bold to vulnerable, Hooda has done it all. Apart from his unmatched acting skills, Randeep is also known for being an avid sports fan. He often takes to social media to praise sportspeople who win international events and he himself participates in several equestrian events.

Recently, Hooda shared that he aspires to play a sportsman on screen someday. "Yes, I would like to! Why not? In fact, twice I had started prepping up for such films, but due to some circumstances both projects didn’t work out," he told ETimes.

However, their have been too many sports films in Bollywood in last few years and because of that, the genre in pretty much oversaturated right now. Talking about that, Randeep stated, "Sports movies are getting to repetitive. I feel that the arc of sportsmen is pretty much the same in most of the cases and so we have actually over-killed this (genre of films) for now.”

When asked whether he wants to focus on sports or on movies, the actor stated, "For years I have focused more on sports, but now I want to focus more on movies. I have had too many self-chosen hiatuses. So, now I am just concentrating more on movies.”
