Other than being an expressive actor, Randeep Hooda is also known to be a humanitarian. He has been associated with Khalsa Aid to help people affected by the pandemic. Since he has been so caught up with his professional and philanthropic commitments, his hobbies have taken a backseat for a while now. Randeep is an animal lover and an amateur wildlife photographer. He owns several horses in his stable and loves to take care of them and ride them.
Recently, he opened up about not being able to make time for his hobbies. He said, “I had been shooting and so, even weeks before the lockdown rules were implemented, I had not had a chance to visit the horses and the stables. Neither did I have much time to go clicking. But having said that, I am on the phone with the stable in-charges and the guys who are looking after the well-being of the horses every day. We speak as often as is needed. I look after the people who look after the horses.
Hooda further shared, Being on the horseback is the most liberating thing I have experienced. My horse Johnny Walker was 22 when he passed away recently because of old age. He had helped so many friends and family members to learn and improve their riding skills. He was so lovely, he would never hurt a newcomer, ever. So many people have enjoyed being on his back. He was in the process of making my niece a better rider when he passed away a few weeks ago. Over the years, I have established a relationship with these horses. They’ve become like family for me now.”
