Randeep Hooda demands justice for heinous act against wildlife

Randeep Hooda is a great artist who gets immersed in whatever role he's playing. Apart from that, he is also an amateur wildlife photographer, animal lover and environment conservationalist. He often uses his position to highlight issues which are harming the ecosystem and raises awareness about them. Recently, he took to social media to bring to light a gruesome act against wildlife in Karnataka.

He tweeted about the murder of 60 monkeys in Hassan, Karnataka. He wrote, "In an absolutely heinous act, more than 60 monkeys were poisoned, tied in bags and thrown on Sakleshpur Begur Crossroad in Hassan District, Karnataka." The actor tagged Karnataka CM as well as Ministry of Environment and Forest.

Police told a news outlet, "At least 46 monkeys were found dead at Sakleshpur in Karnataka’s Hassan district on late Wednesday night. 14 were rescued from the spot. Preliminary investigations suggest that the monkeys were poisoned. A case has been registered."
