Looks like Ranbir Kapoor is on-a-go to be a sport, trying all sorts of things to win over the audience.

The promos and stills of his forthcoming movie ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani’ are giving out positive vibes, for the movie looks all vibrant and jovial. The latest tittle-tattle about this movie is that the actor has given a difficult shot – by posing as a statue! Reports reveal that the movie features the actor in a weird habit of talking to a particular statue in his locality. One fine day he realises that the stone-figure resembles him. And for this, the director Rajkumar Santoshi made Ranbir to be a statue!

“When I explained to Ranbir the scenes, he was extremely enthusiastic about turning into a statue; even though the entire process of becoming one was tedious and painful. Once in make-up, Ranbir could only stand, there was no way he could even sit, forget lying down for those long hours. He had to keep on standing till all the shots were canned. Yet, he went through the paces with great zest,” stated the director.

The make up is done by Vikram Gaikwad and it is said it took over fours hours to turn Ranbir into a perfect statue. While a source said, “After the gruelling shoot, all that Ranbir could think was to move around. The freedom to move around after having stood like a stone at one place put him on a different high.”
