Ranbir Kapoor wants to make a biopic on this member of his family

Actor Ranbir Kapoor is the youngest member of famous Kapoor Family which has a huge and unmatched legacy in Indian cinema and thus he carries a lot on his shoulders. Ranbir's grandfather Raj Kapoor was one of the stalwarts of Bollywood in its golden age and recently the actor expressed his desire to make a biopic on his grandpa.

Ranbir was attending the launch event of a book on his grandfather titled 'Raj Kapoor: The Master At Work'. During the panel discussion regarding the book, he was asked what he would do if Raj Kapoor was alive today. To this, Ranbir replied, "I would like to have a drink with him, just chat with him about life."

"I'm very much interested in making a biopic on his life. There are so many things that were off the record probably when Rahul uncle was working with him. I know Rahul uncle has many stories which he did not put in the book," Ranbir further added. The book has been written by Rahul Rawail, who assisted Raj Kapoor on films like 'Bobby' and others.
