A little while ago, actor Ranbir Kapoor had made his big screen comeback with the film 'Shamshera'. Although the film had all the qualities of a typical blockbuster, it failed to impress the audience and turned out to be a flop. During a recent promotional event for his soon to be released film 'Brahmastra', Ranbir finally addressed the failure of 'Shamshera'.
Talking about what went wrong despite an amazing caste and elaborate marketing campaign, Ranbir said, "If Shamshera didn’t run at the box office it means the audience didn’t like the film. The film didn’t work because the content wasn’t good.”
A while ago, Ranbir's co-star Sanjay Dutt had also talked about the failure of 'Shamshera'. In an Instagram post, Sanjay had wrote, "Shamshera will find its tribe someday but until it does, I stand resolute with the film, the memories we created, the bond we shared, and the laughs we had. the hardships we went through. I thank the whole unit – cast and crew of the film who stayed with the film for four years.”
