One of the most popular stars of this generation, Ranbir Kapoor is known for his effortless style of acting which easily connects him with the masses. He knows how to switch in and out of his characters swiftly and doesn't really carry any of their traits into his real life. However, there was one role in Ranbir's career which took a toll on his life.

In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he found it hard to get out of the role of Sanjay Dutt when he played him in the 2018 biopic. Ranbir stated, "I never took a character at home. Though after I finish Sanju... it took me time to get over the Sanjay Dutt hangover. This is because my eyes became like him, I started smiling like him, and I started walking like him. So that took a little time, but other than that, no other film."

Coincidentally, Ranbir and Sanju are going to share screen in the period action flick 'Shamshera' which is set to release on 22nd of July.
