Ranbir Kapoor: No movie on Kishore Kumar

For long time news had been in rounds that Anurag Basu will be making a biopic on the late legendary Kishore Kumar, with Ranbir Kapoor in lead. However, of late, the 'Tamasha' hero revealed that the film will not happen.

Ranbir shared in an interview that both Anurag and he were very eager over this project. But they didn't find the right cast and moreover, family of Kishore Da were not happy about making a biopic on him. So eventually, they had to drop the film's idea.

Meanwhile, Ranbir's upcoming film 'Tamasha' is slated to release on 27 November 2015.
