Promising hero of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor, after a series of average outings at the box office, made a striking return to form in 2018, with the release of the Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju directed by Rajkumar Hirani, which went on to become the biggest grosser of the year and Ranbir's career best.

Post the success of the movie, Ranbir had been shooting for his next, Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukherji and costarring Alia Bhatt, and the biggie is a fantasy entertainer which aims a late 2019 release. Now an update is out on the cast of Ranbir's next post Brahmastra.

The latest buzz is that Deepika Padukone, who had earlier starred with Ranbir in Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha will yet again pair with Ranbir in director Luv Ranjan's next. Luv Ranjan has been known for his romantic comedies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. This movie will also have Ajay Devgn in an important role.
