Several months ago, it was announced that superstar Ranbir Kapoor is going to collaborate with 'Kabir Singh' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a film titled 'Animal'. In order to treat fans at the start of year 2023, makers released the first look poster of the film. 'Animal' is said to be a dark and violent film and the poster certainly gives a glimpse of that.

It features a side portrait of Ranbir Kapoor sporting long hair and full beard. He is all rugged with several fresh wounds and bruises on him and he can be seen lighting up a cigarette while holding an axe under his arm. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Ranbir's co-star Rashmika Mandanna wrote, "'Animal' first look is here. So, so excited for you all to see this look.” Sandeep Vanga posted the photo and wrote, “Presenting you the first look of Animal. Happy New Year, people.”

Sharing her experience of working on this project, Raahmika had told Pinkvilla, "Ranbir is extremely loving. I was, of course, nervous when I met him first, but I think he’s so easygoing that five minutes into the look test, we were already very comfortable with each other. Thinking about it, it’s amazing how easy it’s been so far with Ranbir and Sandeep. And he’s the only one in the whole industry who calls me ‘ma’am’, and I do not like it. I will get him for this one.”

Also starring Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, 'Animal' is set to release on 11th of August.
