The much-awaited trailer of Brahmstra finally dropped on June 15. The tale of the highly anticipated film is inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales from Indian history. It is set in the modern world with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love and hope.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a sci-fi film about the world of extraordinary weapons of nature - fire, water and more. Ranbir Kapoor who possesses superpowers of fire fights the evil and saves the Brahmastra.

The film has Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and more celebs to bring the extravagant story to life. Ahead of the trailer's release, the makers of Brahmastra introduced us to the characters - one post at a time. Mouni Roy will be seen playing the role of Junoon in the film. Nagarjuna's character was introduced as "artist Anish." Amitabh Bachchan's poster introduced him as the "Guru" of a desi lightsaber.

Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will release theatrically on September 9 in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
