Ever since 'Brahmastra' was announced, fans have been egarly waiting for it. It is said to be India's most expensive and biggest film of all time. Although it was supposed to release in Dec 2020 but that couldn't happen due to the pandemic. Now the production is back on track and the costs have overrun the budget.
The film had a budget of around 300 crore but Uday Shankar, Chairman of Star and Disney India, revealed that it easy over that now. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'Brahmastra' features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna as cast members.
It is first installment in a proposed fantasy film trilogy.
