After the likes of 'Baahubali', '2.0', 'Saaho', 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy', Mohanlal-starrer film on the epic Mahabharatham, 'Sangamithra', and the Allu Aravind co-production based on the epic Ramayana, one more magnum opus is set to be made in South India.

It's Rana Daggubati's next, to be directed by Gunasekhar. The film will be based on the legend of Hiranyakashapa, with the role essayed by Rana himself.

Director Gunasekhar is said to have finalized Rana's name after much pondering. Probably, it will be a multi-lingual film, to be made on a large scale in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

Such films take longer than expected to fructify. All that can be said at the moment is that Rana is keen on essaying another epic negative character of mythical proportion.
