'Ranarangam' Trailer: Illegal trade, love & action
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
There is something strange about the trailer. It begins with the hero (Sharwanand) introducing himself as a gangster trading in illicit liquor. And, in the end, we see him say that the third world war will happen over water. From liquor to water, is it a journey?
Murders, violent beatings, a love story with a traditional girl (Kalyani Priyadarshan), a glitzy affair in foreign locations (involving Kajal Aggarwal) - all these and more in a Vizag where liquor has been banned by the new AP CM NT Rama Rao (the film is set in the 1980s).
Writer-director Sudheer Varma is helped by dialogue-writers Arjun-Carthyk and Venkat's stunts. Also starring Murali Sharma, the action-drama has music by Prashant Pillai and cinematography by Divakar Mani.
The film will release on August 15.
