'Ranarangam' is scheduled to hit the screens on August 2. Its hero, Sharwanand, is bedridden right now. On Monday, he underwent a marathon shoulder surgery a day after dislocating a bone during the making of '96' in Thailand.
With doctors telling the actor not to strain himself for two months, the production works of '96' have been stopped. However, the dilemma is over 'Ranarangam'. Producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments is relieved that all production works and even dubbing works pertaining to Sharwa have been completed.
However, Sharwa is needed for promotional activities. He could well be ready for light activities like interviews by the second half of July. As such, the makers want to take a call on roping him in for such activities depending upon how fast he shows improvement. As of now, they are pursuing a wait-and-watch policy.
