Ranas strong reply goes viral

Recently, Rana Daggubati participated in a discussion. The interviewer, who doesn't mostly watch south Indian movies, told Rana that she used to have a very stereotypical view of south Indian cinema until she watched 'Baahubali'.

Seemingly miffed with the tenor of her questioning and mischaracterization of south cinema, Rana said, "I am just amazed how dumb Indians are about the other States." He went on to add that people have made up their minds about different industries. "Filmmaking is the same everywhere. Only the language is different," Rana said.

The actor has been getting applause from social media users for his reply. "Brilliant reply by Rana. This woman asking the question is a classic entitled type who feels a presumptuous sense of superior aesthetic. This is how hegemonic thinking works," tweets out Madhavan Narayanan.
