Rana Daggubati and Shobu Yarlagadda of 'Baahubali' participated in the TiE-ISB Connect 2017 the other day. Titled as 'Fireside Chat', the event saw the actor-producer duo enlightening the audience with their engaging talk.
"The reason I am in cinema is that there are some stories that need to be told and it wasn't there," Rana said.
On doing 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri', Rana said, "I like drama and movies and the most drama I see is in politics."
Will there be a 'Baahubali 3'? "If there is a part 3, I am there. 'Baahubali' is an armour I wear and walk around," he said.
When it was his turn, Shobu spoke about his journey. "It wasn't easy. I came to India in 1996 and failed, with my back against the wall not really knowing what to do. For me, films were the next survival and business opportunity. There was a tremendous amount of pain and challenges as a startup," he said.
About keeping the franchise of Baahubali alive, Shobu said that the "goal was to keep this huge fan base we created through the film engaged through various other new media."
The producer will continue to make good movies and television shows.
