Rana Daggubati is all gung-ho about "pushing my experimental envelope". Know what it is? War film 'Ghazi', a Hindi-Telugu bilingual. The film is based on the sinking of a Pakistani submarine in 1971 war. This is an underwater war film and India's first submarine-based war film.
Based on the real-life incidents related to the unexplained sinking of PNS Ghazi, the film rumouredly has Tapsee Pannu playing a refugee.
All eyes are on Rana Daggubati, whose stint with Bollywood so far has not be colourful. With 'Baahubali', the actor has unarguably become a familiar face for many non-Telugu audiences.
Ghazi, directed by debutante Sankalp, the entire film unfolds within a space of 18 days, a period for which an Indian naval team led by an adventurous officer spent in water.
