In recent days, national media has been writing much about the legendary Sridevi losing out on playing Sivagami in 'Baahubali'.

Perhaps because such news is exciting, an unverified report or two was expected. One such report has been refuted by Rana Daggubati. The said report claims that Hrithik Roshan was the one who was first offered the titular role and that he rejected Rajamouli's offer because he wanted to do 'Mohenjo Daro' instead. Then there is the claim that Rana got Bhallala Deva only after John Abraham first and Vivek Oberoi second rejected the offer.

"Not true at all :) Prabas was on the project during the script stage and I got on board right after!!" Rana tweeted. It's good to hear the truth coming from the horse's mouth.
