Rana's multi-lingual action film locks release date

Rana Daggubati's 'Haathi Mere Saathi', which has been in the making for more than two years, has locked its release date. The Hindi film, which will also release in Telugu and Tamil, is going to come out on April 2.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon (who has also penned the film's story and screenplay), this adventure flick casts Rana in the role of a person who works with elephants. The story is about elephant conservation told in a pucca filmi style. Rana has shot for the tough film in Thailand, Kerala and other locations. He will be seen in a bulky avatar in the movie, having gained 15 kg for it.
Rana plays a fiery man named Bandev. Pulkit Samrat, Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar will be seen in important roles.
Music is by Shantanu Moitra. Cinematography is by AR Ashok Kumar. Sound Design is by Resul Pookutty. Production Design is by Mayur Sharma. Action choreography is by Stunner Sam and Stun Siva.
In Telugu, it is titled 'Aranya'. In Tamil, it's 'Kaadan'.
