Rana Daggubati has said in an interview that the trait of patience is one thing he loves the most about Prabhas. "The fact that he worked on the 'Baahubali' franchise movies for a full five years says it all. He could have gone on to sign some other movie during those years. But he didn't do that as he values quality over quantity," Rana has been quoted as saying.

It has been oft-repeated that Prabhas dedicated five years on 'Baahubali'. But it's also true that he didn't see it coming. Rajamouli's plan was to complete the magnum opus as a single-part movie. It would have taken not more than two years. But the plan was changed later.

After the project became an international one, especially after the release of 'Baahubali-The Beginning', the extra time that Prabhas had to give was to be expected and, probably, any other actor would have willingly dedicated himself for so long to this one project.
