Rana for 'Uyyalavada': Director has tough job

Even as Rana Daggubati is promising to go places after 'Baahubali-2', he seems to be on his way to bag an interesting role in 'Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy'.
A most-circulated English-language daily has it that Surender Reddy has a fine role reserved for our Bhallaladeva. There was a time when, given his diction and looks, Rana was thought to suit only contemporary films, but Rajamouli envisioned him like nobody else. This must have prodded Reddy to re-imagine Rana.
It will be a special moment for Rana to do Megastar's 151st film for obvious reasons. He has been an admirer of Chiranjeevi for long, besides being Ram Charan's buddy. Also, after a magnum opus like 'Baahubali-2', a Chiranjeevi film will be a fitting follow-up.
That said, the director has his task cut out. Since 'UNR' is a period drama, he has to etch Rana's character and look in such a way that comparisons won't be made with his Bhalla act.
