Telugu actor Rana Daggubati has acted in several Tamil movies like Thala Ajith starrer Arrambam, the multistarrer movie Bengaluru Naatkal, besides getting extremely popular with the SS Rajamouli directed Baahubali movies where he had played the villain Palvaldevan.

The actor is already into production as well, and after producing several Telugu movies, he is all set to enter Kollywood next as a producer. Few days back, there was a news making rounds that actor Vishnu Vishal might play the lead role in the Tamil remake of Telugu hit Jersey.

Now it has been revealed that Rana Daggubati will be producing the Jersey remake in Tamil, and an official clarification on this speculation is expected soon. Vishnu Vishal had earlier played a cricketer in Jeeva and is also a real cricketer, and it will be interesting to see him play a cricketer again. Vishnu Vishal and Rana Daggubati have also acted together in Kaadan directed by Prabhu Solomon.
