'Baahubali' and 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' actor drew applause when he spoke eloquently as a film personality at the ongoing TEDx event in Hyderabad.
His speech was peppered with insights drawn from his personal experiences. He proved every bit that he is from a family of passionate film lovers. "My grandfather moved to Madras, from his village, to tell his stories through the medium of cinema," he said.
Talking about how the new information age is changing the entertainment landscape, Rana said, "With the advent of TV and smartphones, we are compelled to create content for every medium used to tell stories."
But the icing on the cake was when he invited people from different walks of life to enrich cinema. "We need people from all walks of life to come together and help us filmmakers tell better stories over and over," Rana lectured.
He added, "It's not a story teller's job to figure out how to use tech to tell stories, we need YOU to empower us with innovation."
