Bollywood film Ghazi, starring Rana Daggubati, will hit the screens on Feb 24, 2017 Tapsee Pannu and Kay Kay Menon are playing key roles in this Hindi-Telugu bilingual. A submarine-based war film, this one is produced by PVP Cinema and is based on 'Blue Fish', a book written by the director himself.
Speaking to IndiaGlitz, PVP today said, "The movie was wrapped up by April end itself. Post-production works take a lot of time for a movie like this. The failure of 'Brahmotsavam' has taught us that it helps to have a thorough spacing between the first copy and the release. In Bollywood, it's commonplace. Aamir Khan is done with 'Dangal' and the makers are screening it for select audience to receive feedback well in advance."
The film is based on the sinking of a Pakistani submarine in 1971 war. This is an underwater war film and India's first submarine-based war film. Based on the real-life incidents related to the unexplained sinking of PNSGhazi, the film rumouredly has Tapsee Pannu playing a refugee.
