Rana Daggubati on period drama '1945'

Rana Daggubati has opened up on his period film '1945', directed by Sathyasiva. A bi-lingual, the same is titled as 'Madai Thiranthu' in Tamil.

Saying that it's a love story, Rana has told a national daily that the film chronicles a "story that blooms in the turbulent time when Subhash Chandra Bose was believed to be dead."

It seems the film is also going to have strong shades of a patriotic drama. After the death of Bose, the members of Indian National Army were leaderless, but large sections of the country, after the end of World War-II, rallied behind INA when many of its nationalistic soldiers who were booked for various offences by the British.

Rana has said that working on '1945' has been a learning experience. Also starring Regina Cassandra and Nasser, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
