The pre-release event of 'Aranya' was held on Sunday in the presence of Venkatesh as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the 'Narappa' actor was all praise for Rana Daggubati's performance.
"We all will be proud that such a film has been made in India. I appreciate Prabhu Solomon, the director, for presenting the theme so well. Life comes from Nature. If we don't care for it, one day, we are all doomed," the 'F3' actor said.
He added that 'Aranya' has got Rana playing a forest man and that his characterization is superb. "I watched the movie yesterday. After films like 'Leader', 'Baahubali', 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' and 'Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum', I felt Rana was learning more with each film. But 'Aranya' is beyond what he has done so far and he is stunning right from the word go," Venky added, appreciating the director for capturing the emotions of elephants as well so well.
"Nobody has played such a character before on the Indian screen. Rana literally lived the character. Now that he has delivered such a performance, I feel it's a challenge for me. It's unbelievable how much he studied the character and acted it," Venky said.
The film will hit the screens on March 26.
