Rana Daggubati apologies to Sonam Kapoor

Rana Daggubati took to Twitter to apologise for the comments he made against Sonam Kapoor at the pre-release event of 'King of Kotha'. At the event, he said that Sonam was talking to her husband over phone making Dulquer and the entire set wait for her.
Rana Daggubati was one of the chief guests at the pre-release event of 'King of Kotha' in Hyderabad, alongside Nani. Speaking at the event, the 'Baahubali' actor applauded Dulquer Salmaan's patience and how he has always been a calm person. While narrating an incident, Rana took a dig at Sonam and said that she was talking to her husband over the phone about shopping while making the entire crew wait. After his speech went viral, Rana took to social media to clarify his statement.
I am genuinely troubled by the negativity that has been aimed at Sonam due to my comments, that are totally untrue and were meant entirely in a light-hearted manner. As friends, we often exchange playful banter, and I deeply regret that my words have been misinterpreted.
