'Aranya', the trilingual release featuring Rana Daggubati, has locked its release date. To be released as 'Haathi Mere Saathi' in Hindi and 'Kaadan' in Tamil, it is slated to be released for Sankranthi 2021.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon, the film's release date was announced with a motion poster featuring the 'Baahubali' actor and Vishnu Vishal at one side and elephants at the other side, on Wednesday.
Coming with the message of saving forests, the jungle drama's story is about a crusade against the "pandemic of deforestation and industrialization." There is a reason why the 'Viraata Parvam' actor's look is "unerringly like a jungle man's" and that of Vishal looks like a furious man. Throwing further light, the makers say that the film is the story of a man living in the jungle for 25 years.
Also starring Zoya Hussain and Shriya Pilgaonkar, its music is by Shantanu Moitra and cinematography is by AR Ashok Kumar.
