Rana clears rumours about courier

In a rejoinder of sorts, Rana Daggubati has replied to a national daily that has reported that a courier received by the actor was probed by the Telangana Excise Department, which has been investigating Hyderabad's drugs networks.
"Ya and the courier is furniture for my room ;) and dear, please stop calling this a scandal and blow this out of proportion!" the 'Nene Raju-Nene Mantri' star has told the newspaper on Twitter. The said newspaper has used the term "drug scandal" in its report.
"I have a film for release (had 2 earlier this year), a top rated TV show and am part of the Kabbadi and boxing seasons!! So there is really a lot you can write about me," he said in another reply, making sure to keep a smiley at the end.
"Please operate like the principled press that you are and understand that we are individuals just like you!! Thank you," he signed off.
