Rana, Chai to do Mani Rathnam's revenge drama

If everything goes as planned, Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya may be finalized to play the leads in Mani Rathnam's forthcoming film. The film is said to belong to the genre of revenge drama.

For this project, names like Karthi and Dulquer Salman (of OK Bangaram fame), and Karthi and Nani's names have been heard from time to time. However, the director has not been able to pull off the combination for some reason or the other.

This could be the reason why he has zeroed in on Rana and Chai. AR Rehman will lend the music for this film.

Nithya Menon is going to work with Mani once again after OK Kanmani. Keerthy Suresh of Nenu Sailaja fame is likely to be the other female lead.
