'Republic', starring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead, has Ramya Krishna in a powerful role. On Saturday, director Deva Katta and his producers unveiled a character poster of the 'Baahubali' actress.

The senior actress, who used to play glamorous roles in the 1990s, is playing a character by the name of Vishakha Vani in the Mega hero's movie. "It's an honour to share screen space with Legendary Ramya Krishna garu. Can't wait for you to see her live in the character of Vishakha Vani (sic)," she wrote.

"There is no right or wrong. Only power is constant," says the poster, suggesting that Ramya Krishna is a Machiavellian character in the film.

Starring Aishwarya Rajesh as the heroine, the film has Jagapathi Babu in a key role. Music is by Mani Sharma, editing is by KL Praveen, and cinematography is by M Sukumar. Produced by J Bhagavan and J Pullarao, the film will hit the screens on June 4.
