Ramya Krishna As A Cop In A Mallu Film

Ramya Krishna, the actress who almost stopped acting seriously after she got married to the ace director Krishna Vamsi, is now taking up a role of a village police officer in a Malayalam film. Titled 'Officer In Duty', the film will have the latest sensation Asif Ali as the male lead and is directed by Manoj.

The film depicts the issues of female cops in villages in a comic sense and Ramya plays the role of an officer in duty while Asif will be a driver to the officer’s vehicle. The last film Ramya did in Malayalam was ‘Ore Kadal’ in 2007 which starred Mammotty and Meera Jasmine too.
