Filmmaker Ramgopal Varma is busy preparing for his next flick ‘Rakta Charitra’ which is a bloodcurdling biography. He is known for his underworld movies and this one is based on the life of a slain leader Paritala Ravi. He was arguably the most feared individual ever in the history of the blood-ridden faction politics of South India.

Vivek Oberoi is said to be playing the role of the underworld don, he feels this is an experience of a lifetime and owes it to Ramgopal Varma. Ramu is already studying about Ravi’s life to understand and sketch the script better. In his research for the film he met various associates of Paritala Ravi and also their family members. He also met Suri, an important individual in Ravi’s life who is accused for killing Ravi.

Sources also confirm that Ramu has gone one step ahead and signed on Tamil film industry's Hero Surya for ‘Rakta Charitra’. Surya who was the main lead in the original version of ‘Ghajini’ will make his Bollywood debut with Ramu's ‘Rakta Charitra’. As of now Ramu is ready to scare the audience with his new movie ‘Agyaat’ getting ready to hit the screens.
