After the formal muhurut for the 101st film of Om Saiprakash the historical and revolutionary subject film ‘Kranthiyogi Mahadevaru’ is heading for major schedule of shoot at Hubballi and surroundings.

The team of Om Saiprakash completed 12 days of shoot at Rockline Studio and Puttanna Studio of MD Kaushik in Bengaluru. At the places Mahadevaru lived the shoot will take place. It is at Indi Taluk of Bijapur district the life of Mahadevaru commenced. He lived from 1910 to 1980. A devotee of Giri Malleshwara, supported inter caste marriage, fought against British, sought integration, went to prison for 35 days in his 70 years of life.

Well known actor and son in law of Dr Rajakumar – Ramkumar is in the role of Krantiyogi Mahadevaru. Shivakumar, Ganesh Rao, Ramesh Bhat, Suchitra, Sihikahi Chandru, Ravi Chetan, Dingri Nagaraj, Sithaara and others are in the cast.

Madhavananda Shegunasi written script and dialogues, Raja Ravishanker is assistant director, JG Krishna cinematography, B Balaram music, Ishwar stunts part of technical team. Sri Shailaganigere (Rabakavi) a devotee of Mahadevaru is producer of this film.
