The gentleman hero of Kannada cinema and also director Ramesh Aravind is extremely happy for doyen director K Balachander getting the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award.

Ramesh Aravind was spotted for his energy and enthusiasm by KB in ‘Sundara Swapnagalu’ Kannada film. I did not get any wrong temper in my initial days. He is the thoroughly deserving personality for this nation top honor in cinema.

Here is a quotation from Ramesh Aravind “No one in the entire planet deserves it more than him. His illustrious career tale would have been sort of incomplete without this award in his cap. He is a creativity personified and its tribute to his genius”.

Ramesh Aravind has acquired the rights of ‘Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal’ to bring it on Kannada screen.

KB is a very familiar director in Kannada film scene too. He has directed ‘Eradu Rekhegalu, Sundara Swapnagalu’, ‘Benkiyalli Aralidha Hoogalu’ 'Tappida Taala', and 'Mugila Mallige'. He has introduced actress Shruthi to Tamil in ‘Kalki’ film that got Tamil Nadu state award for Shruthi.

A number of films like ‘Pudhu Vasantham’ (‘Shruthi’ Kannada film in 1990) were made in Kannada.
