After the heroine, director of 'Queen' Tamil remake has been changed

We had reported yesterday that Kajal Aggarwal will be replacing Tamannah in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Bollywood super hit film 'Queen'. The makers have approached Kajal but she is yet to sign on the dotted lines. Amy Jackson will be playing Lisa Hayden's character in all the four South Indian versions to be produced by Thiagarajan.
Now the director of the Tamil remake has also been changed. Ramesh Aravind who was initially supposed to direct the Kannada and Telugu versions of the film will be directing the Tamil version also. Revathy who was initially roped into call shots for the Tamil remake could not be retained as she is apparently held up with some other work.
Ramesh Aravind who is very popular among Tamil audience as an actor and already made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Kamal Haasan starrer 'Uttama Villain' has already started shooting the Kannda remake starring Parul Yadav. He has said the cast and crew of the Tamil remake will be announced soon.
in his interview to an English daily, Ramesh Aravind said the Tamil version of 'Queen' will be set in Karur-Tiruppur region and the team will be heading to Paris and Amsterdam. The team plans to wrap up the shoot by the end of this year.
