Yesteryear dream girl Rambha had filed a case against Canadian based Sri Lankan Tamil husband Indran Pathmanathan in a Chennai Family Court a few months ago for leaving her alone with her minor children.

Rambha in her petition had said that she has been living alone in Chennai with her two daughters since 2012 and requested the Court to intervene under the provision of The Hindu Marriages act and make her husband, who has been living in Canada, unite with her. The Court had posted the case for hearing on December 3.

However, our sources say that Rambha did not appear at the Court and instead her counsel had filed a petition with the Court seeking legal custody of her children, and declare that she is the natural guardian of her two daughters who are minors.

The matter has been adjourned to January 21, 2017 since Rambha and her daughters were not present for the hearing.
