Ramba perturbed by fan

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,August 24 2009]

It seems it’s now the season of ‘die-hard’ fans irking their favourite stars. After Sneha, who recently filed a complaint in the police that a Bangalore-based man ‘tortured’ her by sending obscene messages, those in Ramba’s house at Saligramam approached the police that a ‘fan’ created ruckus in front of the house on Friday evening.

According to sources, a youth identified as Venkatesan, who claimed himself to be an ardent fan of Ramba, tried to enter the house seeking an audition with her. When the security guard refused to allow him inside, Venkatesan, in a fit of rage, hurled abuses at him and even threw stones at him.

The Vadapalani police was informed and they promptly picked him up for interrogation. During enquiry, he revealed that he was a follower of the actress and was trying desperately to meet her for the past few days.

His parents were summoned and they informed police that he was an ardent film buff and was keen on meeting the actress. As it emerged clearly that Venkatesan’s act was no more than a committed follower of the actress, no charges were pressed against him, it is said. He was left with mild reprimand and an advice to behave more responsibly in the future.
