Ramba and her plans

Actress Ramba has acted in over 100 films in her career in South Indian filmdom and Bollywood. She has been one of the most successful actresses in the film industry having paired with Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijaykanth, Vijay, Arjun and many more. She has also acted in a few Bhojpuri and Bengali films.

Currently the actress has completed shooting for 'Vidiyum Varai Kathiru' in which she costars with Prakashraj.

Ramba is hopeful that the thriller, being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu would do well at the box-office.

Says Ramba, I will continue to play heroine in films. However the actress says that she has drastically cut down on the number of films she does as she is keen only on performance oriented roles.

On hosting a dance show in a TV channel, she says, Initially I was hesitant. But the response has been amazing. I enjoy doing the show and judging new talent. Once I retire, I may think about entering the television industry acting in mega serials'.
