'Ramarao On Duty': A bureaucrat morphs into a super-man

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is playing a Deputy Collector in 'Ramarao On Duty'. Written and directed by debutant Sarath Mandava, the film has the hero in the role of a vigilante bureaucrat who punishes the wrong-doers despite the absence of evidence. He gets to decide who is a criminal.
The teaser, released today, is rich in slow-motion shots. The 'Krack' actor has surely played a role that is amped up by elevations on repeat mode. Punchlines, courtesy of Mandava's dialogues, are aplenty. The 'Khiladi' star refers to himself as a weapon who doesn't need to wield a weapon to show his power. Sharing the teaser on Tuesday, Ravi Teja wrote, "Duty calling."
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri’s SLV Cinemas LLP and RT Teamworks, the film's talkie part is completed. Two songs are pending to be shot.
Starring Divyansha Koushik as the lead man's love interest, the film has Rajisha Vijayan, Venu Thottempudi, Tanikella Bharani, Nasser and Pavithra in other key roles.
The action entertainer has Sam CS, Sathyan Sooryan, and Praveen KL doing music, cinematography, and editing, respectively. 'Sarpatta’ John Vijay, Chaitanya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, Surekha Vani and others have other parts.
